What would you like to hunt? Big antelopes, gnus, zebras, wild cats or ...? Would you like to hunt from a hide, stalk or from a pick-up? Do you prefer to hunt by rifle or bow and arrow? Whatever you may desire - as long as hunting ethics are observed, you will score on our hunting farm! Hunts are guided by two professionals: the owner of Okalimba Hunting, Jochen Schindler, and Isasskar Muhewa. Both are approved master hunting guides and excellent in their trade with many years of hunting experience in the bushveld and guiding hunters safely to capital trophies. Only a few roads run through the hunting area, taking hunters directly to the hides. Apart from that the terrain is very natural, requiring a bit of stamina while stalking, but rewarding hunters with an unforgettable encounter of nature!We are not offering standard hunting, but respond to the needs and desires of our hunting guests. After a successful hunt, we will gladly assist you with the preparation and export of your trophies. What about those accompanying hunting guests? We will entertain them on organized excursions to Windhoek, visits to wellness farms in the vicinity or on guided tours around the lodge. A full spectrum of activities on Auas Game Lodge will be at your disposal. Tranquillity at the pool - surrounded by wilderness - is another rewarding option! The altitude of about 1800 meters above sea-level guarantees a moderate climate. Even hottest days are followed by relatively cool, relaxing nights and the dry air makes any temperature tolerable. Our climate is very pleasant also for visitors from Central Europe.In the evening both, the hunter and his company, will meet again in a relaxing ambience at the cosy bar where unforgettable days will end in African tradition with stories being told about nature and animals... |
